The World Health Organization has now declared the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak a pandemic. Considering the most recent information available about this new virus from the local Ministry of Health, the CDC and WHO regarding its spread and level of impact in the communities where it present, as of Monday March 16, STRI will NOT be accepting new visitors or visits at our facilities until further notice.

Join an approved Field Course
Request to join a previously approved Field Course.
You must be listed in the participants list in order for your request to join the course.
Submit a Field Course Proposal
Universities or Institutions who want to organize a Field Course.
Field Course proposals must be submitted at least 4 months prior to the intended Field Course start date. This time window is necessary to notify the applicant about the availability of space and equipment, fees, appropriate immigration procedures, and necessary permits, if applicable. It also provides a basis for the evaluation and approval of the proposed scientific training.
